¿Qué pasaría si tu peor enemigo fuera tu mejor amigo?
Chip & Fish es el proyecto de una alocada serie de animación desarrollada por Imaginary Island que te pescará desde el primer instante. Chip es un niño de nueve años excesivamente inquieto que conoce a Fish, un maniático pez fuera del agua que viene de un mundo donde los humanos son considerados una amenaza. Fish es enviado par vigilar a Chip, por lo que están forzados a vivir juntos. Sin embargo, con un pez gruñón que piensa que eres un «apestoso humano» eso será realmente difícil…
Los personajes
Los protagonistas de esta buddy comedy son un reflejo de dos actitudes contrarias de los niños: Chip el deportista y Fish el cerebrito; uno incapaz de estarse quieto, el otro puede pasarse horas encerrado con sus comics… Enseguida los niños reconocerán la pasión por el fútbol de Chip, su rebeldia ante los deberes o sus interminables ganas de pasárselo bien o la maestría de Fish con los videojuegos y su amor por los libros de aventuras. Dirigido a niños entre 9 y 15 años, cada capítulo de “Chip & Fish” tiene un claro mensaje o enseñanza (la importancia de trabajar en equipo, la tolerancia, la sinceridad, el respeto…) eso si, sin dejar nunca de ser endiabladamente divertido.
La historia
¿Qué pasaría si bajo el lago de tu ciudad existiera una superdesarrollada civilización submarina? ¿Y si los peces pensaran que los humanos somos una amenaza para ellos? Lo que empezó siendo para CHIP un aburrido día de pesca con su padre se ha convertido en una trepidante aventura en la que la propia raza humana está en juego.

This is the project of a fish story in the shape of a humoristic animated series called Chip & Fish. Chip is a hyperactive nine year old boy who meets Fish, a fussy out of the water fish who comes from a world in which humans are considered a menace. Fish is sent to watch over Chip, so they are forced to live together. However, with a peevish fish who thinks you are a “filthy human” that is really hard…
The characters
The stars of this buddy comedy are a reflection of two opposing children’s attitudes: Chip the sporty one and Fish the brainy one; one is incapable of sitting still, while the other can spend hours engrossed in his comics… Straight away children will recognise Chip’s passion for football, his rebelliousness when it comes to homework and his endless desire to have a good time, and Fish’s mastery of videogames and his love for adventure books. Aimed at children aged between 9 and 15 years old, each chapter of “Chip & Fish” has a clear message or teaching point (the importance of working as a team, tolerance, sincerity, respect, and so on) while at the same time never failing to be devilishly funny.
The story
What would happen if under your town’s lake there was a super-developed undersea civilisation? And if the fish thought that we human beings were a threat to them? What started out for CHIP as a boring day’s fishing with his Dad has become a thrilling adventure in which the human race itself is at stake.
When CHIP accidentally fishes the Mystic Coral, the greatest treasure in the undersea world, the Emperor Fish immediately sends out an aggressive commando force to rescue it. FISH finds CHIP before anybody else and together they are forced to work as one to stop an imminent war… and avoid being punished with no playtime.
